Does {platinum angel} prevent losing from commander damage aswell? I am going to assume yes but would like to double-check with my peers...

Loosing the game is loosing the game no matter how it was accomplished.

Yes.

However, the moment it dies you will lose the game if you have taken 21 commander damage. This is the same case with 10 infect counters.

Yes:) it protects from you losing the game as long as it is a permanent. Flicker it and you lose. Anything to it and you lose if you would have already lost

You lose only when state is checked. If you use something like {Cloudshift}, state isn't checked until the effect has fully resolved, at which time the angel is back on the field. You won't lose.

Thanks guys. Just wanted to make sure I was still "in the game". Getting spanked with your own {karona, false god} begins to take its toll after awhile lol
