Title: Protection grey area
Post by: TreeTopSky on April 16, 2014, 12:05:00 PM
My opponent has multiple creatures with protection from white. They are all tapped. If i play {Sunblast Angel}, will the ability still destroy all tapped creatures. Im asking because the ability states all, while the protection of [quality] states target.

The angel will destroy, as it's ability does not target nor deal damage to tapped creatures

Easiest way to remember is "Protection prevents DEBT"

"Protection prevents DEBT" is a good lesson outside of magic too kids. Prevent unplanned childbirths. Save yourself from debt.
