Average family with one child
450 for the military
450 for other people's healthcare (obamacare)
330 for people who don't want/cant get a job
only 50 to help people go to college so they don't need healthcare or jobless benefits
150 to pay just the interest that the government owes to different countries.
da fuh?
Go 'murica..
You guys are paying for my edumacation 😝
And for "discouraged workers" which infuriates me more than anything...
Since I'm in the military, does that mean I'm working to pay myself, and therefore, I am my own boss??
Personally I agree with the reasoning to pay for these programmes with tax dollars, however:
I do not believe that the US should be spending so much money on its military. The military is far less important than empowering and educating our youths or maintaining our infrastructure. The US military budget in 2011 was $664.84 BILLION dollars. Think of how much good that much money would've done being funnelled into repairing our education system, or creating new environmentally friendly systems?
And why should the people have to pay off interests the government owes to other countries, anyways? Government debt is not the people's fault.
I realise I went on a bit of a rant here, but these things bug me 😝
I dont care about lowering taxes, i want lowered spending so our taxes mean something as well as better delegation of our tax money.. Come on people, DISCOURAGED WORKERS IS A FREAKIN THING. Why is noone else appalled :(
