Hello everyone, I've been in a rut recently and need to figure out what edh deck I should make next here is what I have currently:
{Gisela, Blade of Goldnight} control/combo thing
{Vorel of the Hull Clade} counters
And I have the parts of a {Daxos of Meletis} deck. Some of my thoughts on what to build include:
{Isperia, Supreme Judge} "make everyone attack me"
{varolz} counters
{krond, the dawnclad} auras
{vela, the nightclad} artifacts
{jarad, golgari lich} combo
{vish kal} life gain
I have basic cards for all of these but need to focus on one if I'm ever going to finish another deck haha. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Go isperia! You can do {guardian of the gateless} with {indestructibility} and {holy day}s and etc etc
Of course idk if {W}{U} has good provoking cards, i forget which color has all those
{Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter}! B/W token sacing is fun. There's {Teysa, Orzhov Scion}, and Athreos who is about to come to life would kick butt.
I love Isperia. And blue has a few provoking cards.
Basics that I like:
{Bident of Thassa}
{Bullwhip}
{Courtly Provocateur}
{angel's trumpet}
{siren's call}
Also, there are these combos for it:
{Brigid, Hero of Kinsbaile}+ {Charisma}/ {Basilisk Collar}
Or {Dissipation Field}
Or {Darien, King of Kjeldor}+ {Soul Warden}
(If you can't tell I've thought about most of these decks haha)
Vish kal is cool as well +1s to everyone!
{horobi,death's wail}
Well here are a few past EDH decks I've done that happened to be a lot of fun:
{Riku of Two Reflections} (I have this card for trade too!) Great fun. you can run him three ways or in some combination of the three: Creatures, spells (think burn or ramp + Riku's ability!) or combo ({Riku} + {Palinchron}= infinite mana)
{Rakdos, Lord of Riots}: kind of a stompy deck. Great in 1v1 or multi. Put in Eldrazi and get then out early with him. let him hit your graveyard and he's great with {Mimic Vat}
{razia, Boros archangel} I loved this deck. Very flavourful. Used an army of soldiers and angels. I had {Gisela} in here too, but she wasn't my commander. She's a big target by the controlling decks!
And obviously my EDH decks now currently are an esper build and my new lady love, {Kaalia of the Vast}. A very polarising commander, a lot of people hate her for her quick wins, however you can build a slow Kaalia deck too.
Hope this helps. If you don't like my suggestions, a {Gisela} deck could be fun. Maybe stick a {Hostility} in there? I've grown quite fond of that card.

{Rhys the redeemed} token! That's a lot of fun. The squirrels! They're everywhere!
Or {Rhys the Exiled} elves might be fun
{Cromat} utter ufcking chaos.
{Tesa, Orzhov Scion} is a great commander. Go with that if you like sacrificing, death triggers, and disruption/taxing!

+1 to you. Old Teysa is the best Teysa.
I run an {Ezuri, Renegade Leader} deck that can deal like 15,000 damage in a turn.
YAY ELVES!

YAY ELVES!
will you post a list?
It just involves about 15 elves, some high cast fatties, a shrine to nyx, a {Vernal Bloom}, 20 Forests, a {Joraga Warcaller} with 40+ counters on it , ad a {Craterhoof Behemoth}. The rest is whatever else.
{Ambush Commander} + {Immaculate Magistrate} targeting {Joraga Warcaller}

Wow, didn't know about that combo. Mine is waaaay more complex!
Throw in {Umbral Mantle} and {Gyre Sage} for infinite damage as early as turn 5.

Throw in {Umbral Mantle} and {Gyre Sage} for infinite damage as early as turn 5.
How does that work?
Turn 1: forest, {Joraga Warcaller}
Turn 2: forest, {Gyre Sage}
Turn 3: forest, {Umbral Mantle} equip to sage
Turn 4: forest, {Immaculate Magistrate} sage evolves +1/+1
Turn 5: forest, {Ambush Commander} tap magistrate to add 9 +1/+1 counters to gyre sage and then tap sage for 10 mana untap with umbral mantle for 3 infinite times for infinite mana. Equip mantle onto magistrate to tap and untap infinite times adding counters to Joraga so opponent has about 8 elves of limitless power to try and stop.
Of course umbral mantle on a gyre sage of 4 counters is infinite damage by itself because of the mantles stacking +2/+2 but no trample.
Ooohhhh.... okay. Sounds fun :)
My EDH deck just has 10-20 creatures turn four....
