Swapped Circu for Murko recently.  But this average CMC is high but that's why I run the {dark rituals} and it is casual so...  Also don't run expensive fetch lands cuz again it's casual.

But I always found with true mill decks I would get people to about 3 cards left and then I'd die so I made this a hybrid deck that uses more creatures instead of trying to do creature control and mill at the same time.

This deck seems dirty dude! With the mill being more of a way to make huge doods have you considered {Wight of Precinct Six} or {Consuming Aberration}?

No because I have not looked 100% at the new sets since about Avacyn is when I went on hiatus.  But those look promising.

Give  {Duskmantle Guildmage} and  {Mindcrank} a look at as well. Duskmantle alone had won me so many games.

Oh my! Mind crank is sick! Dusk mantle + mindcrank = win

Yea {crumbling sanctuary} is more costly than {mind crank} but it helps you stay alive as well.

but you want to also benifit from the mill as well. Anyway you go it is fine, it's just I look to mill them out, and deal damage, while I get two 36/36  {Consuming Aberration} out for defenders. Keep me safe, while I do dirty work.

This deck does not guarantee consistent life loss so it would be hard to get the counters on ascension.  There are some times I get out an early jace's phantasm and beat face but those games end early if they can't answer the 5/5 flyer.

If you can recommend what to take out and sell me on ascension then I'm all ears.

Another question then. Do you use this deck for multiplayer? Or just 1v1s? Cause a {boon of erebos} on a crab would be annoying, and still lead into the bloodcheif counters.

Not sold on the boon just to add ascension counters.  Then you are taking more cards from the deck as well.

I play this 1v1.  I played against a standard mojo green devotion on Saturday draft just for funzies and I milled him out.

His {courser of kruphix} allowed me to decide if I wanted to sac a land to trigger the crab for mill or not and let him draw a crappy card.  The about mid game I cast {entering} on his {hornet queen} in his GY.  It was pretty much in the bag after that.

Alright. It seems like you have a pretty solid deck here, I shall shut mah mouth :P after mentioning {mind funeral} of course. Amazing 1v1 mill spell. I'm done now XD

I do appreciate the feedback.  I do not mean to sound push-offish.  (Yes I just invented that word 😜).  I did have funeral and {glimpse the unthinkable} in here but I traded em.

Thinking of re-adding maybe?
