Title: JtMS
Post by: rarehuntertay on April 13, 2014, 04:56:49 PM
Watching the Legacy Open. Dude ultimated  {Jace, the Mind Sculptor} when opponent had one card in hand, during extra turns. Just plain nasty. That is all.

There are budget decks available though! And unlike standard, once you have a deck it doesn't have to be replaced every year!

I think legacy affinity decks are reasonable.  There are money cards in it of course but mainly you can easily forgo the revised dual lands which is one of the biggest cost playing legacy.  Mana-less dredge has to be the cheapest hands down though.

Probably not tier 1 but mono black discard, merfolk, goblins can all be fun and somewhat competitive.

I'll find the pictures from when my dad was 31 and he ended up getting two in the same day. Then he gave up magic for a little while to take care of me. After he got back into it he bought an alpha pack and thats what he got. He promised at least one to me when I was old enough to understand the game.

I would rather see pic's of this vintage deck that is around $12k of store credit. With a recent newspaper below the cards to confirm the date.

My dad played at the beginning and got a ton of stuff. I started playing the year before he died.
