This isn't the first time he has pulled a stunt like this. He did some bullshit under a couple different names (drewy, maybe?) then cleaned up for months under slenderbro. Now he obviously doesn't give a damn about actually following through with trades.

Slender was Optic and Hexdrinker. That_guy was Drewy.
This is very sad ever scence Kuberr there has been so much theft... It needs to stop this section for trade is so helpful to those of us who have issues getting certain cards. And the theft makes some of us very scared to trade here even though there are so many trusted traders.

I agree. I live in SoCal so cards are extremely easy to get for me, but I don't have the needed time to really make to different LGS to find the cards. I also like to get cards that people are looking for in here to help out, but with this happening, I doubt I'm trading online anymore.

My advice is simple: ask a mod anyway.
Although the middleman service post says to not ask for trades under $25, if you are truly worried about your cards, then it's better to ask. The price limit was to try and prevent a ton of Pm's and confusion. The point of the service is to protect you guys, so if your cheaper cards are all you have, then by all means request the service.
I'll go out and personally say I don't care how small the trade is, I'll middleman for anyone. If your cards are important to you, I don't care if its a 5 dollar trade.
I'll do low cost middle man trades for people. I'm friendly and wouldn't rip any of you off i'am here to help.
True I will even send my own cards first as collateral if people don't want to believe me lol. Would that put people's minds to rest I don't fathom the thought of stelling cards from fellow manic players I pride myself on honesty
Tracking is huge for making sure they got your end. Unfortunately as the community grows, we will attract more parasites who wish to harm the community. Communication is key in trades; also be familiar with the poster.

Do not trade what you cannot afford to lose!
Mail trading is a huge liability and if you make good trades with a player constantly, let it be known! If the user created issues and couldn't communicate or reneged the trade constantly; be cautious and let us know also!
I'm not worried about being able to "afford" the trade. I can handle the loss, I wasn't using what I sent, but I still want my value. I mean, I've been waiting on a plateau for weeks, from when the cost was still around $40, now it's up over $60, which puts me behind. This is the type of stuff that makes me more upset about it....
So as of today, he has been texting me saying he can "rectify" the situation by winning some pauper tournaments and giving me value out of packs..,,should I get value at trade time price, or the increased price? Which is fair????

It was around before kuberr and will be around after. Just do what you can to make sure your trade is secure. You have options like tracking, send first, middleman service all available. We cannot do much more from a public forum, but you can take steps to make sure your trade is secure. If you ignore these things, you have left yourself in their hands. Good luck.

I'm in 100% aggreance that I should get the cards that I originally traded for, especially considering I traded away a vendilion clique, something that can be used towards the likes of a plateau or fetch or something of the sort.
He's stating that he sent the items and I never received, and obviously, he sent with no tracking. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt for him to send me value back....I'm so lost for words with the whole situation now....I'm probably not trading anymore online after losing two trades and one getting beat up cards....
If he doesn't get you the card have his punk ass send your card back scrap the trade and he will than lose out you know what I mean.

Ya I know, and the card in the trade was a plateau, which is also jumping up!!!
He can't send me the cards back because he "traded" then right after he sent my end to me....apparently he used them in another trade then lost all the cards to his second stolen binder in one year....I'm done...can't talk about this, it fires me up every time!!!!!! AAAHHHHHHHHHBBBBBB

lol yeah... ive read A LOT of old threads to get acclimated with the trading system. specially the trials to see what i should watch out for. i read sparkleninja (?) and duckys specially and it was very sad. he messed up so much even the one dude that was trying to help everyone get their cards was being accused of being ducky himself. anyways... i didnt understand the "im not slenderbro" post. is that supposed to be sacarsm?
