Put the commander in the sideboard.

It's the title. I don't think it's necessary

Ive got a friend with a rafiq deck, it's completely broken. {Serra Ascendant}, on turn on 1 with rafiq on turn 3, with mana pumpers of course. All together it's a broken deck. My mono black is the only deck of all our friends that can beat it regularly.

I hate rafiq more then any other general. It is edh on cruise control... No need to even steer.

Well there are ways to kill him or nock him back I mean turn four you drop him then you gotta wait till turn 5 to use him so u got like 2 draws to pull a removal or kill spell

I'm not sure what you mean by this?  You still need to clear a path for your creature.

i understand what he means. My buddy has every form off mass creature removal in his deck. So he just waits to cast a bunch of little exalted creatures, rafiq, and one creature that's really going to hurt you. Plus he uses creatures and aura's that give trample. He never actually attacks with rafiq himself. Not unless he gets a {Shield of the Oversoul}

If you build this deck right jester, which you more than likely will. Your friends won't play when flop it on the table. (no pun intended)......(ok, maybe a little intended)

Hmmm...Well, considering I'm trying to get the guys in my group to start playing EDH, maybe I shouldn't start with someone so OP.  I just liked the idea of attacking with {Geist of St. Traft} and getting exalted AND a 4/4 angel attacker.  ;D

I'd say after you get them hooked on edh, play with rafiq to show off your mad skill lol

If I had her, I would!

I'm actually getting into Agrajagazz9's ideas for {Damia, Sage of Stone}.  Seems up my alley.  ;)
