Well, ignoring the rest of that list, there's already a deck called Nykthos Green running around in Modern, which uses Nykthos and huge numbers of Green mana symbols (1-drop Arbor Elves, 2-drop {Strangleroot Geist}/{Burning-Tree Emissary}, 3-drop {Wistful Selkie}, etc.) to generate huge amounts of mana. Nykthos is used as a secondary mana generation, though, as the core of the deck is Arbor Elf with {Utopia Sprawl}, which can get you up to 4 mana on turn 2, easily. The "NykWave" version pumps this mana in to Genesis Wave to play a huge number of creatures, often resulting in your opponent taking a {Crafterhoof Behemoth} to the face.
