Okay I live in a rather small town in Arkansas where the MtG fanbase is kinda meager, and the closest card shop is an hour away from here. So I don't go to the shop very often, mainly for prerelease tournament and stuff like that. But yesterday a shop opened up here, which is freaking fantastic. Only downside is now I feel like spending a lot of money on standard.. But overall I'm in good spirits about it
Awesome! I have an LGS that is about 5 min away, but its prices are really high and it doesn't do tournaments other than casual FNM. I have 2 more that are about 35 min away, one does tournaments but no singles and the other is the opposite!
Haha they should just merge. Best thing about this one is that is actually a shop from another location. They packed everything up and moved the shop here! Which means it isn't like the crappy we-are-just-starting-out shop
I'm very jealous. The closest one to me is an hour and a half away :( Makes it very hard to appreciate magic to its fullest.

my life up until today. I ran by, played a couple EDH matches nonchalantly and left. And it was amazing. I could get used to this
I have a store 5 blocks away! But they barely have any singles and only have drafts and casual meet ups
