My wife bought me a Born of the Gods Booster pack, tonight. I opened it up, and it only had 12 cards. It has a tip card, basic land, one rare, three uncommons, and only six commons. I am going to follow-up with Wizards, but has anybody else every had this happen. If so, what was the resolution?
I had this happen to me as well won a couple packs at an Fnm for taking 3rd opened them up I got in touch with wizards they replaced the pack and gave me an extra one that was about two years ago so idk if they still do that but all I can say is try the shop owner had to vouch for me tho by writing a statement and sending it to them hope this helps.
It was 3 commons missing, do you really want 3 commons that badly? You got the tip card what else could you want
Oh didn't se that I was missing my rare also I do know if you get damaged cards in a pack they will replace them well they use to my bad should have payed more attention my bad I apologize thank you misterjh for pointing that out you got the rare that's really all that matters well to most. If you would like I message ibtricky and he will send you some commons I'm sure he can make up for the cards lost he has a post on here check it out.
Spoke to Wizards, today. Said I would have to return the whole pack, rather than just send me some random commons. I really want the rare and the uncommons, so I guess that I will just be shorted. I think that they should have either sent me another booster pack for my trouble or a voucher/coupon for a replacement at a local lgs. Oh well! I know it seems silly to want these missing commons, but I am low-income, and getting a pack is quite the luxery for me. I don't have playsets of many commons, either. Plus, I think one should get what they pay for. As for IBTricky, we already traded/exchanged some cards. Thanks for the input, everyone.
What was the rare
{Astral Cornicopia} I know most people hate this card, but I want to try my hand at it in a Commander Deck. Seems like it would be a good mana sink in a turn where you had a lot left over to build up a mana rock for a large color block for X costing spells. Maybe I am wrong, but I'll wait and see.
