Wouldnt lavamancer hurt you since a fair amount of your cards serve a purpose from the grave?

Maybe drop 1? Go to 4 vengevines since multiples in your GY are only more awesomeness?

I was about to say that. Instead of Lavamancer maybe {Lotleth Troll}?

EDIT:Just noticed they were already in there

Since I'm using fetch lands and dredging it puts them non useable lands to work when they hit the graveyard.

Eh on second thought i guess 2 lavamancers is just fine, its all personal preference and like you said youd be able to squeeze some good damage out of him almost for certain

My friend has a deck kind of like this and he has  {Grisly Salvage} but it's more of a personal preference

I love {lotleth troll} and I am very surprised he does not see more play in tier 1 eternal formats.

Would Lilly be any good in here? Her discard effect seems really one sided.

I think Lily is more synergistic than the pod.  Lily is more proactive with erring creatures from your hand to the GY.  The pod is definitely effective too but I think it would be interesting to see how the deck runs with switching each of those cards out and trying running it both ways.

{stinkweed imp} over {shambling shell}
I like shambling shell because it is a zombie, so I can play gravecrawler when he's out.

Added lily and took out birthing pod. Since there are so many 2 drops and very little 3 drops it didn't do as much as it could.

Yea I think that is wise....I think Lily will let you cheat out vengevine faster than pod in this deck
