mono black control help 52 cards, 0 sideboard 20 {Swamp} 4 {Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx} 24 lands 4 {Blood Artist} 2 {Necroplasm} 3 {Dark Impostor} 4 {Phyrexian Obliterator} 4 {Captivating Vampire} 4 {Balustrade Spy} 21 creatures 2 {Sickening Shoal} 2 {Grave Pact} 2 {Grave Betrayal} 1 {Dark Prophecy} 7 other spells Sideboard Notes: as the title states i need some help with a mono black control deck

im only playing this online so i have no price limit

In that case mono black is hard I make it a control but you could go for  {Phyrexian Obliterator} and  {Dark Confidant} but besides that I cant really think of control cards. Maybe something like  {Shadow of Doubt} to stop fetches and it replaces itself

Look at 8 rack decks. It's the best mono black control in modern

Follow that mold. I'm not the best at control decks tht don't include  {Maze's End}

Look at cards like {damnation},  {Mutilate}, {Black Sun's Zenith},

Maybe try a {Liturgy of Blood} for ramp

Whats the card that was just in standard that gives -1/-1 to all creatures equal to the number of swamps you control? Thatd be rather useful, and also MUCH CHEAPER than damnation :)

Also I recommend getting rid of {Grave Betrayal} because its really bad in modern

{Dash Hopes} is a very interesting card in Monoblack.

Edit: Also, Many mono black builds run 4x {Mutavault} and 2-3x {Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth}.
