Basic strats:
- get your commander in swinging at your main threat. Turn to nicol bolas and get that hand empty. Most will take 4 flying commander damage. Most don't expect to discard their hand ;)
Need a board wipe for one player? Swing with commander (hopefully unblocked) transform to balefire. 6 dmg to all creatures that player controls.
Edit: may add Lieutenant Dragon for 7 damage wipe also
Skittles + Moltensteel for French Death on t6 or sooner depending ramp
Protect via quicksilver/counters as you swing thru
Whip + isochron scepter + pull from eternity - unlimited whip combo for any creature in your GY
Hellkite Tyrant + Mycosynth Lattice = take everything
The deck is nice for casual and French play.
Optimal opening hand is rainbow land plus leyline of anticipation :) and a mana dork
Flash in mana dorks/rocks EOT, flash in commander
Swing for infect death if you need to or just simply be a dick and nicol bolas their hand.
This is a great response to T1 sol ring. Which I refuse to run in any of my constructed EDH decks.

Scapeshift into Mazes End for long game combo win (leyline o flash out)
Also 3-4 mana hand, + dork/rock + scapeshift t3/4 search for thespian stage + dark depths, next turn, make Marit lage
Mazes end is a fun win condition.
Leyline of anticipation + scapeshift is someone is about to combo out and win by infinite combo.
{Dragon Tyrant} is really good to deliver the lethal commander damage blow outa nowhere

Is recommend {Counterflux} over {Counterspell} in EDH. It destroys Storm Melek decks and is uncounterable for {R} more
It's actually out now, deck is set with dragons and is now being foiled out.
Molten steel and skittles makes people sad.
Mainly had counter spell for the it being able to be recast with isochron scepter
Bump - seeking foils or speciality promos/autographed items to swag this deck out.

All this decks really needs to do is flash in the commander t4 or so and swing for combo
Been winning at French EDH ;)
Replaced {omniscience} and {enter the infinite} with {mycosynth lattice} and {unwinding clock}
Also removed niv mizzet, progenitus, Seles charm, conspiracy and some basics to add the 5 artifact lands, coalition relic, mana vault
How much ramp do you run? I have about twenty ramp cards, my 25 favourite dragons, 15 controlling cards, 2 walkers, and 38 lands.

Try playing {Tyrahts Familiar} because hasty removal and commander damage is fun

About 50% of my deck is promo/foil and I hope to have it 100% swagged out eventually
1st commander deck and If I have to ever get rid of my collection, this deck stays ;)

This deck ramps fine, so it's not really about the dragons being able to land as much as its about having a commander who can blast away if needed.
