You copy the pact and still die due to upkeep costs. All the pacts are instant speed
So is wear/tear so he dosen't have to copy anything because it resolves first.

I FINALLY WON ONE!!!
And that's why currently i prefer my "I win" strategy with my mind pact deck opposed to aggro right now. It's just so much simpler
