I personally would drop vraska for another {temple of deceit}. I would feel more comfortable with 22 lands than 21. I would also consider some enchantment hate like {fade to antiquity} since you can't play {revoke existence}. (Yes I know you has the caryatids but I'm looking at it from the mana base)

I remember you having {Putrefy}? What happened to that? Maybe make it a sideboard card?

Maybe try the courser of kruphix with underworld connections

You could drop the prophet and zeganna maybe? Also not a fan of scavenging ooze in the main.

In playtest, Pack Rat is wrecking face

Well with underworld refilling hands it seems like pack rat would be good here. I agree that it probably is a nice tech to use here.

I feel like my SB is poo right now... What about Whip vs Control? Is Notion Thief worth it?

I think everyone's focused on the upcoming set cards. Lol. I was disappointed with the lack of useful BUG support cards myself. Some good cards, don't get me wrong. Just not better than what we have access to.

The only one that stood out to me was the new 3cmc demon flier with 5/5. It's an insanely fast clock especially paired with desecration demon. Just a thought.

He definitely caught my eye... But giving my opponents extra cards just doesn't seem worth it... I feel like that's too detrimental. Have you playtested with him before?

Bump

I took out my {Pack Rats}. It wasn't consistent enough. Instead, I added {Courser of Kruphix} back in. Filtering through the deck and gaining life is perfect. And the 2/4 body is nice

Also took out {Desecration Demon} for {Reaper of the Wilds}. It's a big deal but Reaper is a good body as well. It may not have flying, but Demon was always sacced to anyways. Plus Reaper gains Hexproof, Deathtouch and lets me Scry a lot. Perfect fit

I was thinking with the new demon trying out main decked flash creatures that turn opponents draws into free draws for me... Can't remember the card name sorry... With bug matchups I don't think that giving them 1 or 2 free cards is going to be that detrimental in the current standard environment. Not to mention that demon is a 4 turn clock that can trade with just about anything currently played if needed. Also it is hard to burn off like reaper.

You mean a {Notion Thief} paired with {Master of the Feasts}? That's not nice. 1 extra card for your opponent, then a 5/5 flier and extra cards for you.

When Desu demon rotates u can expect to see Mono black splashing for notion thief just so they can run feasts in demons spot.

Think about all of those sphinx revelation core decks out there now.... Notion thief eats them for breakfast... Lol. Another one I recently got introduced to says both players discard their hands and then draw new hands... Notion thief would have fun with that one.

Demon and thief rotate at the same time

Thanks! I haven't taken a build like this to FNM yet, but in playtest, Reaper just didn't fit the curve. It's a good card, but I needed more spot removal. I do love Reaper, but I needed some counter action :p

He loves his caryatids too much (which I can't blame him for) lol

I do love my Caryatids lol but I've considered Extinguish, and I think it'll go in post rotation most likely

Helps against those Aggro decks to stabilize saved me against pack rat a couple of times.  With ramping mana it helps I think at least clear a board of hex proof enchantments as well.

Update! I was missing a Kiora for FNM (as in my trade hasn't come in yet :p) and I had an extra {Extinguish All Hope}, so I threw it in

First off, I was never upset to see it in my hand! I loved clearing the board of everything but my Courser!

Secondly, I think I prefer 2 Kiora weirdly. She's really nice to hit, but I think 2 is best

After FNM I packed another Extinguish all hope, and I took out a {Psychic Strike} for it. After playtest my deck seemed SO much stronger. Psychic at 2 was just perfect. I had it when the bombs dropped but my hand wasn't clogged so I wasn't getting multiple in my hand. And Extinguish was just a powerhouse . New MVP of the deck!

Also my SB wasn't done so I borrowed some stuff for the Aggro matchup, and I really loved my new SB. I believe it will stay this way. I'll let you guys know how next FNM works!

I also added my second Underworld into MB and it wrecked. One game I had Memory adept and both Underworlds out and drew 4 cards a turn. Value

I think that while the charm has different modes it is just too narrow in its uses. You'd rather be able to counter any spell at all. (Besides uncounterable things...)

Updated with m15. SB is made for my meta, which is a bit smaller, but still strong. I've now 4-0'd there for a month straight. Also, both Nissa are foil <3

Really love the deck! It's pretty much post rotation and looks like loads of fun.

Although you have caryatid, 24 lands looks pretty light for a control/walker deck with a high curve.  I would move it up to atleast 25 or 26;)

The land can be an issue sometimes, but I can't even describe how many times {Courser of Kruphix} has saved my ass lol him and card draw let me do fine, but unless I get solid card draw in Khans (which has wedge colors!!!!) I will move up to 26 lands :) thanks!
