Pod decks, based on {Birthing Pod}, generally function as either Combo or Tool-box decks.  Using the Pod, you can easily work your way up the curve and find the creatures you need.  You can use this to find combo pieces ({Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker}, {Murderous Recap}, {Melira, Sylvok Outcast}, etc.) or find specific hate bears that you might need ({Gaddock Teeg}, {Aven Mindcensor}, {Scavenging Ooze}) and even use it as an outlet to sacrifice guys with persist.  I've never piloted the deck myself, but it's usually combo, though I'm sure you can use it as an overcosted {Green Sun's Zenith} to build it as a tool box.
