Title: Gods and bestow
Post by: Anoobass on March 25, 2014, 05:54:17 AM
So say I have {Mogis, God of Slaughter} out and {Rakdos, Lord of Riots} making a total of 6 red/black devotion.  Could I cast {Everflame Eidolon} for it's bestow cost and enchant it to mogis?  I know that mogis isn't a creature at the time of casting but gods will evolve other creatures if their own devotion makes them a creature.

Thanks in advanced

I'm gonna take a stab and say:

702.102c (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?action=imtg;area=rule;number=702.102c): A spell's controller can't choose to pay its bestow cost unless that player can choose a legal target for that spell after it becomes an Aura spell.

But any of the normal Aura rulings would work.
