If I enchant my opponents creature with {soul ransom} and he discards two cards to activate the ability...I respond with {devour flesh} on myself and sac his creature...do I still draw two cards?
You would still draw the cards, once the ability is activated it is separate from the soul ransom.
The ability says you must sacrifice soul ransom, although it will be in the graveyard when the ability resolves.
If {soul ransom} had said "sacrifice soul ransom, if you do draw two cards" then you would not get them.
That's what I thought...just wanted to make sure before I played it like that...thank you
