Title: Purphorus & cryptborn horror
Post by: BattleGhost on March 17, 2014, 08:24:12 PM
How would this work? Would cryptborn gain the additional counters when it enters the battlefield from the damage purphorus would deal from it entering?

{Cryptborn Horror}  {Purphoros, God of the Forge}

To help get answers it makes it easier when you link cards. Quote to see how or use the book in the upper right corner or the curly brackets

The horror enters the battlefield with the counters. The counters are not an effect of him entering like the damage from the god. Of the horror said "When this enters the battlefield put a number of +1/+1 blah blah" then you could decide which resolves first. But as is, the horror enters the battlefield with the counters, then the damage ability goes to the stack.
