Starting tomorrow morning, I will begin posting 1 clue per day that will lead you to a card in the database. You must name the card, and the set it is in.
The prize will be a booster box (36 packs) of JiN when the set comes out at the end of April.
The first person to PM me the correct card will win the prize. Please do not flood my inbox, only guess if you have a valid idea. People that submit more than one guess per day will be disqualified.
Please note that journey into Nyx doesn't come out for a while, so if you win don't expect the box until the cards become available.
By the way, you can ask falcon, nyghthawk, or Noblellama if I'm trustworthy, I believe they have nothing but nice things to say about my commitment to promises. :)

All clues will pertain to a card in the DB. Each day gives more and more information to use to track down the card. Thanks for moving this coffee, wasn't sure where to put it.
What if its printed in more than one set?
Is the limit one per date ( March 12, then posting midnight March 13 ), or a 24- hour period, like Karma?

First clue is coming up in a few minutes. If the card is printed in more than one set, you will have to give me the correct set to win. I assure you that as time goes on, the clues will lead you to the card and the set. Not sure if anyone in the community lives in another country, but I assure you that if you win I will find a way to ship to you, no matter the cost or procedure.
Rules:
--One guess per 24 hour period (to account for different regions). You will get one warning if this rule is broken, and your extra guess will not be considered. If you do it again, you are disqualified.
--All guesses must be PM'd (PRIVATE MESSAGE)(Mensaje Privado) to me. Any guesses posted on this thread will not count, and are discouraged at the highest degree.
--Any questions about a clue should be posted on this thread to ensure everyone gets a chance to have information cleared up. I'll do my best to be cryptic but straightforward.
--You may work together, but only the first person to PM me will win. You can work out sharing the prize yourself. :)

I would encourage using the app database search, as most clues are optimized for utilizing filters to narrow down the choices.

Ohh clie is so helpful. It limits it down to i don't know 20 different color combinations. Haha

I think I figured it out ;)
The day has come and gone, and no correct answers ;). Remember to pay attention to your first guess time stamp and not to guess again for 24 hours. I'll be posting clues around 0800 central US time, unless something comes up (which it shouldn't).
The second clue tomorrow will be MUCH more revealing ;)

I'm sorry everyone. I'm on emergency leave right now, my grandma took a turn for the worse and I'm going to be spending the next week or so with her. I'll have to postpone the contest for now at least. I'm sorry.
My grandma actually played magic and I've been collecting cards from the Zendikar block because it was her favorite. I've brought my decks with me and we will be playing a few games together when she has the strength.
I wish all of you well and want to thank all of you for enriching the community of magic that she introduced me to so many years ago. I'll update this thread when the contest is back on.
