Title: Planeswalker Infect
Post by: Sparkle Ninja on March 10, 2014, 07:32:01 AM
What happens if your planeswalker gets hit with infect? does it get poison counters or does it take normal damage? Also, what if when {Gideon Champion of justice} is a creature it gets blocked by an infect creature? then what?

I cannot find the ruling on this right now. However, infect is damage, so plainswalkers will lose that many loyalty counters.

I'm not sure about Gideon though.

Gideon prevents all damage that would be done to him while a creature, so nothing would happen, even vs infect.

However, any -1/-1 counters that are placed on him as a creature will remain on the card, and will only have an effect on him while he's a creature.

just {skullcrack} first so no dmg prevention.
