Notes: I have play tested this quite a bit against some friends and thanks to the satyr two drop coming out I can play an izzet deck! Suggestions appreciated please mention replacement when naming off a card thanks.! :)

I made a very similar control deck, and I found that steam augury will lose you too many cards. I prefer to have hard draw like divination and inspiration. Also, aetherling is a must, especially when you play against control, and they get rid of your very few creatures. Prognostic sphinx I found also gave huge advantages. Scrying three per attack and with a large amount of drawpower you can protect is easily.
With spellheart I generally don't mind losing the cards and often I can get at least one card I want. But my biggest inclination to keep the card is the instant speed! I hate being tapped out! The sphinx is a good idea.
I made my izzet deck around {act of treason} effects and such and controlling all things creature, as so much is reliant on creatures
Not saying its a good idea but its a ton of fun! {domestication} and all that good stuff!
That's why I used a playset of inspiration. I can do it eot and my opponent can't choose my fate
Modified the deck after some play testing throughout the past few weeks. Going to finally use this tomorrow at a standard tournament any final suggestions?
If you can get ahold of them I would put {jace, architect of thought} in replacement of {steam augury}. Planeswalkers will help redirect damage and kill spells away from you and your creatures along with giving you a way to get card drawn and weakening their creatures
Replace spell heart chimera with {Guttersnipe}
I found spellheart and guttersnipe to both be easily removed but for the one-three turns they are around spellheart tend to do more work.
{Anger of the gods} doesn't seem to fit here. Your chimera, Pyromancer, and tokens all die to it. Is play more {Turn//burn} because it has nice synergy with chimera, and if you want to play counter spells, then play 4 {Dissolve}
Turn//burn only counts as one card in the graveyard. You mentioned the synergy with chimera It doesn't double up.
I've been debating about side boarding anger as with so few creatures it's often nice to draw early to wipe the board and I can obviously choose not to kill my own guys be deciding when to play it. ^^( perhaps just main boarding 3 mizzium would be better?
