Title: Enchant and priority.
Post by: Galabranth on March 03, 2014, 02:00:33 AM
If lets say I cast an enchantment which makes my creature hexproof. {Alpha Authority} My opponent does a {Bile Blight} to kill it. Does my dude die?

Bile Blight would resolve first.  Killing your creature and making your spell fizzle.  See:  Timing and The Stack under Rules Q&A and FAQ.

well there are two possibilities where {bile blight} could work. if they cast it in response to you casting {alpha authority}, it would resolve first and kill your creature. if they targeted another creature with the same name, and {alpha authority} had already resolved, it would still kill your creature, assuming -3 was enough, since its not targeting the hexproof creature.
