Do basic mountains count? And red goblin tokens?
If the card that generates the tokens says red then they will count. (Can link card for better answer)
As far as the land I would say no but I'm just guessing. (I would wait until someone with more knowledge answers)
And don't forget to count the card as one
Lands are colorless check out {Ancient Stirrings}
202.2b (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?action=imtg;area=rule;number=202.2b): Objects with no colored mana symbols in their mana costs are colorless.
But a red goblin token has no mana..

but a red permanent doesn't need mana symbols to be red. {goblin rally} puts in red goblins. as long as they have a color identity defined, they have color, mana cost not required.
105.3. (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?action=imtg;area=rule;number=105.3.): Effects may change an object's color or give a color to a colorless object. If an effect gives an object a new color, the new color replaces all previous colors the object had (unless the effect said the object became that color "in addition" to its other colors). Effects may also make a colored object become colorless.
Won't the effect of the card stating to put "colored" tokens replace their "colorless" status and make them the specified color?
yes if it tells you the token is a specific color, it has that color identity. its not colorless.
So then how is a mountain colorless when it produces red?
Because thems the rules
"Lands are colorless"
I just find it weird
Ok. Well I believe this is resolved. Right?
Yeah:(
I always forget that originally they stated they tap to produce the color
