Title: Mutavault and +1/+1 counters

Given that mutavault is only a creature until end of turn, should it retain and accumulate assigned +1/+1 counters assigned from abilities of other permanents?

It will turn back into a land with +1/+1 counters on it, like how {Raging Ravine} works.
