Well if they don't have GY hate, you can use it in a self mill deck with {Laboratory Maniac}
{Tormod's Crypt} couldn't think of the name of it.
Doesn't seem very practical. Might be fun though.

except it doesnt really end the discussion. cause you can still {path to exile} or {doom blade} the angel. so while the angel does answer most things, many things also answer the angel.
Yeah. The angel was meant to be super vulnerable. It is an artifact (there is a butt ton of artifact removal), it's an angel (there's a good number of angel hate spells, and it's a flier (which there's a lot of hate against). As for the original discussion, yeah it seems like the best way to use that would be to use some graveyard hate and then {Donate} it.
When used as part of a dredge deck that card could keep you alive long enough to pull off some mighty combos. Good on trying to make such niche cards work.

Now if you can manage a {platinum angel} with {indestructibility} and {lightning greaves} or somethin... Because thats a very realistic combo right guys?

How about platinum angel with {darksteel plate}, {privileged position} and {whispersilk cloak}?
How about a {platinum angel} with all that and an emrakul and an artisan of kozilek and an ulamog and all the krakens and and and

{diplomatic immunity} and/or {elguad shieldmate} acomplish similar things without privilaged position.
{Lich's Mirror} is funny to flash in before a loss. Not really sure how it ties in to the GY kill but still funny.
