Title: Reinforce rules
Post by: Quackmaster5 on March 30, 2012, 09:42:11 AM
I had a friend attack swing with everything and try and wipe me out. I was able to block all but one and that one creature wouldn't have been able to kill me. He played {swell of courage} for its reinforce ability as if it was an instant ability. I wasn't sure how reinforce worked and couldnt find it in the rules when reinforce ability can be played. Can someone help me out for the future?

The reinforce ability is an instant speed since Swell is an instant. If swell was a socery then then its at sorcery speed.

Nevermind I re-read it.
It's similar to cycling.

Right, but can you cycle in the middle of combat? It thought that would be sort of a sorcery ability.

All activated abilities are instant-speed unless stated otherwise.
