Title: Harold Ramis
Post by: Gorzo on February 25, 2014, 04:17:49 AM
I just learned that Harold Ramis passed away yesterday. Normally celebrity deaths don't bother me, but this one hurts. Co-writer and star of my all time favorite movies (Ghostbusters, Stripes), and wonderful comedy writer, director, and actor all around. Words cannot express how much joy and laughter this man has brought to me, and I hope he knows how powerful of an impact those smiles have made on my life, and the lives of countless others.

I will miss you deeply, Dr. Egon Spengler.

He was a great and funny man, it's sad that he is gone.

I always take any film related celebrity's death to heart, especially when they are great at their craft. That's one less amazing person I'll be able to work with in the future.

R.I.P Harold Ramis and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

I'm still gonna call. And I'll never forget how big that Twinkie really is.

I really hope Comedy Central or AMC or something does a marathon of Ramis' movies to honor his memory. I could really use his great works to lift my spirits.

So sad. There's been rumors of three* of the four original cast members returning for a third Ghostbusters. It would be sacrilege to continue it now.

*Bill Murray is too hip and cool for another Ghostbusters.

They never wanted to do a Ghostbusters II, so I highly doubt there will be a III...

I was wrong. They're making it without him. It won't be the same.

Also it was Ernie Hudson not coming back. Not Bill Murray.
