Title: D demon and phenax
Post by: Slenderbro on February 23, 2014, 11:19:53 PM
 {Desecration Demon}
{Phenax, God of Deception}

Assume both are active.

At the beginning of combat, can i respond to the sacrificing of an enemy creature by tapping demon? If so this interaction is kinda decent.

Unfortunately, you cannot respond to the sacrifice, as it is all part of the effect of the Demon's trigger.

There are no "partial resolutions."
Nooeesss
This ruins my plan for an aggro mill. XD

No. Deso's ability goes on the stack. When you allow it to start resolving (by allowing your opponent to make the choice) you have to let it finish resolving. Once it resolves, Deso is already tapped.

But but!

You could attack/wait with demon, during declare blockers: triton tactics!

Then tap to mill for 9 :) or more with sac counters
