Title: Opinions and Deck Postimg
Post by: ApexPredator on February 23, 2014, 01:56:07 AM
This has been crossing my mind when I peruse the comments on the format threads. It seems to me that people want to post their lists mostly for the input our community can give. Most of the time people take the comments and apply to their decks to make them better and if not they are generally gracious about saying they don't like some ideas and that awesome. Stand up for your deck. At the same time I've seen deck posts that people try to help with that the original poster rudely says they will not change at all. Not changing your deck is fine it's how it comes across through text. These people are taking time out of their day to help and are getting treated rudely and it kind of makes me twitch. Now I know it's not that big of deal but I feel if someone offers you a suggestion being a rude ass is not the proper way to say you don't like the suggestion. Saying something like I don't feel it would work as well but thanks for the suggestion or something of that nature is less rude. Rant over.

Twas a good, well written rant my friend. I completely agree, this needed to be said eventually.

I agree, but there are some times were the people commenting don't have a good understanding of the deck and you kind of just have to brush them off. But I understand, saying you will not change the deck at all, is dumb.

Indubitably, I say.
One who is in denial of the failures concerning a deck of their own design or refuting the suggestion of a substitution for a certain card should always have the good graces to do it politely.
