If I were to play splinter, targeting Sensei's Divining Top, and they were to put it back on the top of their deck, does it still go through as a target? Or does it fizzle because the card is no longer on the field as a legitimate target?

That's why I always have two spells to target a top
Or, wait for them to use it, then torch it in response.
