Title: Splinter and Sensei's Divining Top
Post by: DementionX on February 21, 2014, 05:56:23 AM
If I were to play splinter, targeting Sensei's Divining Top, and they were to put it back on the top of their deck, does it still go through as a target? Or does it fizzle because the card is no longer on the field as a legitimate target?

{Splinter}
{Sensei's Divining Top}

The spell will fizzle as the top is no longer there upon resolution of the spell.

That's why I always have two spells to target a top

Or, wait for them to use it, then torch it in response.

I thought so. Thanks for the clarification!
