Title: My own planeswalker
Post by: Shadridium on February 20, 2014, 07:56:05 PM
Hello everyone, I've begun writing my own story for magic where a relatively young man finds himself involved with the workings of a planeswalker (who writes him letters to avoid revealing the world of planeswalkers to his still rather primal marsh village, this boy has the ability to control his blood and form it into weapons (but still connected to his body) and change the density to create something similar to a pseudo shield. My question is, colors. What colors should I consider him I want there to be three, but I can't really decide what so to make it intresting I bring it to you as a community and his personality will be designed and alered around the colors we settle on.

BRW I think. Blood and pain, red and black, and self sacrifice for white

Alright that will be the one I go with unless someone really inspires me with a different color combination.

Definitely Red and/or Black + X. White is really good, if he is a hero type with dark powers, so {R}{W}{B} would make sense

It isn't necessarily a dark power, but it involves sacrifice, which definitely involves black. Red is questionable, as just because blood is red doesn't make him a super passionate or angry person, but if he is, than red is a yes. E doesn't seem green to me, although he doesn't live in a rural area. Blue doesn't seem to fit either, and if he is a good guy, white seems appropriate

{B} for sacrifice
{R} for passion
{G} for nature if he is rural in nature (personality)
{W} if he is more city (progressive) minded or heroish

Any of those really work when you explain it like that :p to OP: Any combo of those colors is certainly possible, depending on his personality :)

Tell us more of how you see his personality forming and don't let yourself get stuck in the idea that your PW might not shift from one color combo to another
{B}{R}{W} hero gets jaded by a corrupt government and decides that the natural way is best and through self sacrifice and his enraged passion at the loss of his family turns from the righteous path to the brutality and simple promises of nature and becomes {B}{R}{G}...

Or something like that

Lol as if Jund needs more >.<

Well so far I'm working on my own plane and the idea is that the plane is almost all marshland outside of one city which is governed commanded and run by elves. every other species is inferior to them, at least in there eyes, and my character is being trained by a planeswalker to rise up and ignite his spark by overthrowing the tyrannical elvish king (though I do really want to avoid a Moses esque "let my people go" kinda thing so I'm trying to find a purpose for him to suddenly create an uprising)
