I just read the first ruling for {Aurelia, the Warleader}. My question is, why won't it trigger?
Seems legit. Thanks.
So, you just have to wait until your next turn when she's not the result of a spell?
Not quite.
If you cast her normally in your main phase. Then since she has haste you attack, you will get the extra combat as you declared her as an attacker. However if you have an ability that can be used to put in a creature attacking during combat from your hand, you will not get the trigger as you did not explicitly declare her as an attacker at your declare attackers phase

An example of her ability not triggering would be as a result of an ability like {kaalia of the vast}. The fact that she enters due to kaalia being declared an attacker doesn't allow her trigger to go off.
Rule 508 deals with the declare attackers step in combat.
508.2. (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?action=imtg;area=rule;number=508.2.): Second, any abilities that triggered on attackers being declared go on the stack. (See rule 603, "Handling Triggered Abilities.")
After attackers are declared, the game checks for creature attacking abilities, and this is the only time this trigger is checked for. When Aurelia is placed in combat tapped and attacking, the game has already passed this point and can't go back and check for it.
Thanks for the clarification guys. Thumbs up!
