This is my first self made commander deck. Any advice would be great!
{Amulet of Vigor} for Karametra
I had considered it but ultimately decided against {Amulet of Vigor} since I can tutor for Karametra but not amulet. The odds that I'd top deck it early enough for it to be useful are too low for my tastes.
Couple of things I noticed off the bat:
- look into some strong field wipes. {Austere Command} is a perfect example. It's very flexible and easily works into your favor and can easily change the tide of the game. Maybe {Wrath of God} or {Terminus} also. Thankfully white is very strong in this suit.
- look at some of those lower drop cards. Things like {Crusade} and others that just give +1/+1 are wasting a card slot for something that could have a lasting affect on board state late into the game. Keep in mind that not a lot of people care to do much with early game in EDH beyond accelerate.
And a side note: that {Compost} in there could be a great sideboard, but in main it is wasted. If you aren't playing someone with black it's useless. Look into maybe replacing it with a {Fecundity} or some good artifact draw like {Staff of Nin} or {Howling Mine}.
But also let me say this, this is a strong build. Sissy has got a lot to work with, and I can see this being a big threat pretty early. Nice.
I want to put board wipes in but I'm reluctant since the more instants/sorceries I have, the less effective {Primal Surge} will be. Right now I'm solely relying on {Mageta the Lion} for wipes, but the initial mana cost is steep. {Crusade} and the like are prime discard targets for this on their own, and the sudden boost they can give via {Primal Surge} makes me think they're worth being there (suddenly my creatures are all +10/+10). Do you think it's more beneficial to have sorcery clears and risk ending Primal Surge too soon?
And as for {Compost}, I agree with you. I typically play with 3-4 others though, and usually at least two of them run black. Otherwise, it can be discard fodder for Mageta.
Ah alright. Forming to your local group makes sense with {Compost} then.
As for primal surge, let me give you an outside opinion on that:
Yes it's a great card, loads up your field real quickly, although is very risky because it does cost 10. But if it goes off well, it can win you the game. But keep this in mind: it's 1 out of 100 cards, so you can't justify that your entire deck is built for the soul purpose of it being successful, unless of course it's your commander. So I see where you are going with it being extremely benificial to your entire deck, but it could be a possibility that it is better to run the deck with out it? It's not always accessible, it's not foolproof, and it's much too risky to be forming a deck around a card so inconsistent. Rather you could take it out and enhance the deck itself for a more consistently powerful build. I did a similar thing with my {Sydri, Galvanic Genius} deck (which is threaded on here ;) under Esper) with the card {Mycosynth Lattice}, which almost entirely ensures I win game. But then again, it's only one card, so your deck still has to be successful without it.
Of course, these are just things to consider when reaching a final build. Especially with a first, dedicated EDH deck. It takes some time, and multiple drafts are going to be made. So food for thought on that.

Thanks Fusty! I took your advice and switched the +1/+1 types out with removal and it playtested much better! An indestructible {Nevinyrral's Disk} or {Magus of the Disk} is a scary sight!
I had a lot of trouble with voltron decks in my precious playtests, but the addition of just five spot removals like {Crib Swap}, {Condemn}, and {Oblation} really helped.
