I'm Gorzo. My real name is Steve, and I'm just one of many awesome moderators here at imtg - these folks are a great crew! I'm certainly an mtg addict (EDH especially) and I like to cook and game.

I'm Keyeto, and am a moderator like Gorzo. My real name is Chris. I love playing guitar, math (I know), practicing martial arts, and video games.
Life has kept me a bit busier than I wish, so I haven't had too much time for mtg lately. Hopefully that will change soon! This has been such a wonderful app to have, and has become so much more than an app for a card game. Great community we have here!

My handle is langku and my moniker is Kuyler. I enjoy any kind of game, art, teaching, spiritual endeavors, my wife and daughter (I'm a family man at 36), and long walks on the beach.
I love modern and EDH format and play {U}{W}{G} almost exclusively.

Gggrrrrrr)! My real name is Sean, I'm a Drama Teacher who aims to travel the world in every school break (mostly successful on that goal so far!)
I have played Magic since Beta (with a hiatus somewhere around Onslaught and a couple of years or so after), been a Playstation fan boy since FFVII and a Marvel Superhero indulger since the Symbiote Saga ... I think (I was very young).
I've been using iMtG for years. I was one of the first people on this forum and I'm the longest running still active Moderator. My expertise, I guess, is knowing the app itself inside-out, however, my fellow moderators are faaaaar more knowledgable about the game, strategies and rules of Magic than I! Besides, I live in Australia and by the time I've woken up, you guys have asked the questions and hear guys have cleared them up!
I'm very honoured to be apart of a stellar team, forum and app such as this and as has been said before, I'm always open to a PM about anything; an app query, a game clarification, some forum/trading advice or just a general hurrah for Esper and/or EDH!

I started playing Magic November of 2012. I'm new but as educated as someone who has been playing 5+ years. I enjoy every format, in order I enjoy EDH, Modern, Legacy, Vintage, Standard, other (such as Prismatic, or Freeform!) My favorite color in magic is Blue, and my favorite card is {Geist of Saint Traft} and/or {True Name Nemesis}
I'm currently residing at Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a $50,000+ scholarship for my vocal skills, and have the second highest scholarship of anyone in the top choir group, Chorale. I sing Baritone, and Tenor 2, whichever I'm needed in, and I made the second alternate to the Texas State Choir my senior year at High school. I actually got into Magic from a guy named Hunter Sitz who came from Southeastern OK to student teach at my High School (in which I have delved much deeper than him haha) and even got me to go to Southeastern
I have a girlfriend (who just recently started LIKING MAGIC. WHAAAAAAAAAAT. She asked ME to play today. Yuh) who's named Savannah Rayne. She is very beautiful and goes to The University of Houston and is training to become a Nurse :)
I play Piano, Guitar, just picked up Drums, and sing of course :) I also play Dungeons and Dragons and have 2+ years as a Dungeon Master under my belt. I am also currently writing a book, and I am 20,000 words in, and just started chapter 3 lol

Heyo! I'm Rhett and I've been playing Magic since mid-2009. I started playing casually, then started standard, then realized I don't really care for standard, then went to Modern and EDH, and that is where I've been for a while now! Just got into EDH in the past 3-6 months and have found it to be a blast to play after attempting competitive MtG and getting into the competitive mindset. Casual is always the most fun!
I work full time at a humane society and absolutely love it! I had two dogs, then failed to foster one (which is a good thing!!) and now have three little urchins running around. I love playing video games. I'd been playing 360 for a couple years, then finally got smart and bought a PS3 a couple months ago. I love Final Fantasy games. Only one I've played that I didn't like was FF2.

Greetings humans. I'm Mike, and I'm from Pluto. I have a bone to pick with Earth's scientists for de-classifying Pluto as a planet, but you lot, for the most part, are all right.
I played Magic throughout high school casually, then stopped around Mirrodin (the first one.) I started back around the time Avacyn Restored came out and learned SO MUCH from this app. More than what I ever learned from my first round of playing it all those years ago. I play casual, EDH, and pauper. Favorite colors are {B}{U}{R}, but can only play {R} if it's splashed with one of the other two. I have a strong preference for reanimator and graveyard based decks. I'm also a moderator here.
I'm 26, married, and love it. From Louisiana, which I also love, and I'm a Maltese owner. Outside of Magic, I play guitar (been in different punk bands since I was 15,) play D&D, avidly read books, and semi-avidly read comics. In September I made a resolution to watch considerably less TV and read more. I've stuck to it so far. I'll read anything that's well-written or has cool ideas, but I have a strong preference for science fiction. As of late I haven't had a strong posting presence on here due to life, but once I get some things set in motion, I hope to have enough time to help out around the forum once again.

Hello, I'm Mozilla butcher. My real name is Peter. I'm currently a junior in the wonderful thing called highschool. I've been playing magic since Avacyn Restored. I got into magic because of one of my friends taught me how to play and I got hooked ever since. When the friend who got me into magic, graduated and left to go to Westpoint he decided to give me his two best decks U/W spirit and U artifact which are my favorite decks right now. I'm mostly a casual modern player who uses no staples. I volunteer a lot( seeing as I have to for school) mostly with a summer basketball league where I did stats for 300+ people, this volunteering has given me 663 hours from 2011-2014. I've been blabbering on, so ill bring this to a close.
Hello fellow planeswalkers! My names is, surprise surprise, spencer. I am senior in high school and will be graduating May. As a part time job I work for my dad setting tile and re-grouting franchise restaurants a like Panda Express and Pete's Coffee. I have only been playing magic for about 8 months, but it's become a very important part of my life(make fun if you want). I switch from color to color, but white is my favorite at the moment and I'm working on a Darien EDH. My favorite card is {hero of bladehold} or {vampire nocturnus}.
I used to play video games to the point where it became SUPER unhealthy. I started to feel the impact and stopped cold turkey lol. Since then I haven't really been that interested in playing video games(except for Last of Us. That game looks sick). I love camping, fishing and general outdoors type things. I love this wonderful community and hope all new people feel welcome.

Hi everyone. My name is Jeremy. I started playing Mtg when I was 19. Back when Ice Age was released. So yes I'm an old man lol. I've played off and on since then, never anything more than casual. I'm not new to the app, but I haven't gotten involved in the community. I plan on changing that. I made my first trade with Nyghthawk just a couple weeks ago and am working on a second one. I will also work on getting some more, a lot more, of my older cards put into my trade folder. If you wanted to win you had to have THE cards or have a crazy deck. I do like how they have tightened up the game now though.

My name is Clay, Remillo, Remi, whatever you want to call me. I'm a 20-year-old college student working towards a BM in Music Composition in North Carolina. I've been playing Magic for... A while now. I first started during original Ravnica, figured out what I was doing during Lorwyn, then took a break until Avacyn Restored. Then I came back and it's become a huge part of my life. I got myself certified as an L1judge over the summer of 2013, joining my shop's incredibly high Judge-per-player ratio... We often joke that we have the highest density of judges anywhere. But all joking aside, I'd estimate that 1/4 to 1/3 of our regular players are certified. So yeah.
Anyways, I play mostly EDH with a bit of Legacy and Modern mixed in. I also play in Vintage tournaments from time to time, though usually I just borrow whatever my friend Jon isn't playing that day.

Hey guys Im Mike been playing since Revised I guess first deck I played was straightforward red burn and I was hooked. My favorite color overall is black followed closely by blue. First purchase I made was 3 packs of unlimited for 30 bucks at the time. First deck I ever tourneyed was mono black w/ things like necropotence and lots of pro white/green.

I played mtg for a few years back in 1999-2001 ish. Have a collection of about 10k cards from that era. Went to a couple of booster drafts a couple years ago during Eldrazi. The closest game store is 50 miles away so I don't get to play much. Would eventually like to play some wall games. I also play D&D online once a week. Usually DM. Alright, so I just realized that I've never posted here even though I've been on the forum for MONTHS. So I'm Chris, and I played magic during Zendikar/Scars block, but then quit until around M14. Hello fellow magic players my name is brad and I'm 33 years old from canada and I've been into magic since mercadian masques block. I play edh, standard and modern formats and I play magic 3-4 times weekly I have a legend collection that is 400+, I pulled a god pack, and recently have been winning more tournaments , I love drafting my a favorite colors are blue and white and my favorite card of all time is grand arbiter Augustin IV. Hi, I'm Fluffy! I'm part of a bunch of different diverse forums, and really new to mtg. But I love it! I'm officially addicted. The game, the concept, the strategies. Where has it been my whole life?! Anyways, I currently have a pretty solid life deck built with the help of a friend of mine letting me borrow it, and it's awesome. I wish we could play test here with other players. But, I'm also working on building my very own and first deck. Trying to make it 'Murican. Mainly because there was too many good choices to narrow it down to two colors. That ones kicking my butt. I have a basic concept of mtg and the way it's played, as well as some key lingo and whatnot. But I'm also eager to learn more. I've been lurking on the forums over a week and checking everything out. Finally thought I'd say hello :).

Havnt played much magic in my day, played a bit last year with innistrad and loved that block, and now that I'm getting back into it I'm trying to get used to a whole new block that's about to be topped by yet another one!! Hello everyone,I'm pretty new to magic. Been into it for about three weeks now. I only have about 300 cards so far. Not very good at playing yet. But I know I'll be winning tournaments one of these days. Just need practice. So far I only participate in drafts once a week. I'm 17,name is Jake and I live in Alabama. HI. My name is Darren Johnson and I just turned 15 on the 22nd of November. I've been playing magic since I was 13.999 (got my first magic cards literally the day before my 14th birthday,) so that means I've been playing for a little over a year :D. I enjoy casual/modern and I'm getting really into EDH. I'm starting to build a peasant cube because I'm going to host magic le gathering parties at my house during the summer! My favorite colors in magic are {U}, {G} and {B}. I have a mono white deck, green/black deck, and a mono blue edh deck ({Arcanis the omnipotent}) I really enjoy trading, and I'm hoping that I can get to know everyone better ;D

I am exclusively Abzan so far, and my current deck is an Outlast deck. My favorite Planeswalker is Espel Tireth, and my favorite single card I own is an Wooly Spider from Ice Age! Well I joined and kinda skipped this at the begining so taking a step back. Well hi everyone, everyone calls me Joey back home. I'm a veteran to the U.S. Marine corps, college student, married, and just recently turned 23. Until about a month or so ago I hadn't played magic since I was 15 or 16 but when I got back I ran by the comic book store and ended up playing again. Ive actually been on here for like 6 months or so, i never noticed this. But i go by Kyrosis, at least for now. I started playing around the 2013 block (not sure which ones those were) and ive been off and on ever since. I started on elves and ive been addicted ever since. Also im trans and thats made it hard for me to find people that accept me and magic players are really accepting ( im like Alesha, im male to female trans) and so thanks for all being here :)

Hello all, I've had this app for a while but never really checked the forum. Glad I did. My name is John and I've been at this game since the Dark and Fallen Empires. Not the best sets but they had their moments. Would love to see a revisit back to Dominaria and bring Urza and Mishra back in some alternate timeline. Why not? It Worked for Ugin. Love the game and, love the seeing all different walks of life who feel the same way.
First was on this thing 4 years ago... Finally got it back xD im Zach. Im a hoarder of cards, mainly tokens and planeswalkers heh

Welcome. I like duels as a learning platform. Very good place to learn the ropes imo, even with the restrictions on rares/mythics slightly lowering the power level.

I would strongly recommend trying out the Magic 2013 and 2014 video games too. Those games both have premade decks that showcase what each color and color combination can do. For example in 2013 there is a goblin deck that showcases red agro. These games were how I started playing and they also give you good decks to begin with rather than some cruddy thrown together deck like what magic duels gives you.

(Reads like this) in 1994 I started playing a collectible card game called jihad which later changed its name to Vampire the Eternal struggle. It was the second game of its type with MtG. being the first. A close friend of mine(RIP) saw what I was doing and introduced me to magic. I taught him jihad he taught me magic. However in the snobbery of my youth I resisted building a collection. Instead using his extensive collection to build my decks for play, and concentrating instead on growing my collection of vampire cards. (Oh the folly of youth).
Later while doing some time in the slammer, the pokie, the klink, prison, jail, the pen, inside, upstate, behind bars otherwise known as "where your/he's going... ... ..." I was exposed yet again. however $.50 an hour doesn't provide enough capital to build any kind of collection if you want to eat anything but food that is marked "not for human consumption". So once again I used decks that were loaned to me by people who made them to lose to their almighty god decks... didn't win a single game at this point in my life. The year is 2001.
Then in 2009 something spectacular happened. Upon winning a bid at a storage auction to get inventory for my new and used merchandise store I came across a collection of magic cards. I studied every single card in the collection. Though I had no time to play and no one to play with I fell deeply in love with the game. A few years later after traveling the lower 48 states, going to welding school, working my butt off in the largest oil field in these United States. I finally found time to play. I still had no one to play with. So I down loaded duels of the planes walkers 2012 on my PS3. 2014/15/16 I have on multiple occasions now found collections for sale due to distressed financial health of several people. So I was able to obtain a massive collection of cards from 1993-today. I still don't really have anyone to play with but admittedly I haven't really looked.
I've had this app since 2012 and just today opened the forum for the first time. Using the app entirely as a card catalog and price guide.
After reading every post in the intros, all 10 pages, I have determined that I was a practicing imbicile for not getting involved sooner (oh the folly of middle age).

I'm rather new to this game. First tried it about a month ago, and have become interested. I've played hearthstone before and find this has a lot of similarities. Anyways stumbled across this app/forum and it looked like a good place to look more into it and ask questions.
Some background info about me: I took civil engineering, enjoy all dancing- especially swing, and play quidditch.
Hey, I'm Wreckstein. My son and I have really gotten into Magic lately. We are playing on a shoestring budget, so that makes it a bit difficult, but we love the game.

I'm Terence and I've been playing magic for about 3 weeks now, the iMtG app has helped me a lot with deck build testing and now I've discovered this forum section it's even better.
I've built a nice paper collection from my first booster box and have been really loving FNM at my LGS (yeah I know some acronyms now) so now I understand what CMC means and other such lingo I'm enjoying MTGO too.
I absolutely love the depth of MTG and I'm looking forward to many many more years to come.
Does anyone know what the multiverse part of the app is?

Hello... used to use this app pretty frequently. You can find some of my old mediocre articles still laying around. Quit magic end of 2015, didn't touch it at all last year. Might get back into magic?

My name's Anthony. I've been a big fan of magic since I was 16 (now 29) and I just love what this game has to offer.
Over the years I have experimented with various decks, especially during the ravnica block which was a favourite. Red is often my main focus colour but nowadays it's often red/blue (Izzet for the win!)
My main formats are standard and modern and occasionally commander which I need more practice at lol.
I work as a data entry administrator for the docklands light railway and working in the city of london gives me so much advantage when travelling to other parts of london whether it's to the mcm expo, magic events or other places in general :)

My name is as it says, Madison. I have been playing MTG off and on since about early 1997. Though its been so off and on I have the knowledge of someone who just opened a deck for the first time. I used this app last year with great success and was trouble shooting why it now keeps crashing and came across this board so I decided to join as I have been getting back into MTG more and more lately.
Few of the people I know even know what MTG is so its nice to be able to chat with others that like something I like.
