Ahh very good point gorzo! I'll make the change now. Do you have any suggestions on how I can damage myself, but control when I do it? Nothing with "at the beginning if your upkeep.." Something that taps?

Drawing a bit of a blank... White isn't very good at dealing noncombat damage. The only thing I'm able to think of is {Staff of Nin}. Extra card draw, plus ping yourself for a soldier and whatever comes with.

Hmmm, {Mortapod} maybe?

Can I have {blind obedience} in this deck? Is the hybrid mana symbol part of its color identity?

You can use it since the hybrid is in reminder text, meaning it does not count. Extort is the only mechanic in which this occurs.

I need to cut 1 card and I can't decide! Help?

Honestly with mono color and relatively low mana costs, you might be able to just cut a plains. Try taking one out and running a bunch of sample draws to see if you still get the mana you need. If so, you have your cut!
