Any ideas on what to improve?
I feel like you have your idea of how your deck works, I'd suggest making it more consistent with less one ofs
Does the variety not help with some new styles of game play from my deck so it's not predictable?
Your average mana cost is 3.15.
Running only 20 lands and one being a nuts vault. Theoretically 19 guaranteed land and only 3 scry lands w/o a shockland.
I feel your real issue is the curve and goin to be stuck doing nothing or waiting on a plains when you draw all green drops etc.
Do the sylvan caryatids not help on that mana curve?

Sylvan caryatids can help the curve, but seeing as there is only 2 of them, it makes it difficult to draw one of them.
In magic, unpredictability isn't a problem. It's being consistent and constantly playing threats to be dealt with. It's a good start for the deck, but try focusing more in 3-4 copies of cards. Some suggestions for the stuff to play now are:
{dryad militant}
{voice of resurgence}
{soldier of the pantheon}
{selesnya charm}
{advent of the wurm}
Honestly, I don't play it, but those are some of the staples to the deck.
If you want to be unpredictable check out commander. All the one ofs can make any commander deck unpredictable.
Well I'm trying to keep it standard for when m15 comes around so I don't know exactly what to replace the "older" ones with
I wanna piggy back and solidify what Mr JLamb5 said :)
Actually, with most new players, they run more 1 ofs because they are just new and don't think about it. But you noticed that you'd like to play unpredictable (I don't know if you're new though, but if you are), and that shows that you're already thinking like a good deck builder! +1 Karma for actually backing up your deck, and I think it's super awesome of you to already be actually thinking about the deck :D
Now, here's, from my experience, how to pull together your concept of a "curve ball" to your opponents, and still have consistency. All I can do here is offer strategies, as for card names for examples, I'll come back, as I need to do research on some cards :p
Now, I understand you want to trick out your opponent by running less playsets of cards, but here is what you're really doing. You're not making it harder on your opponent to answer your cards, you're actually playing less threats, making it easier for your opponent to answer and gain "Tempo" against you, pushing you back. So here's what you can do to clean up the idea
Run 4 ofs of the BEST cards (that your budget will allow of course :)) but THEN, find your OWN 4 ofs that you think are the best, and throw them in. Most people when they see a deck, if they play competitively, will already know a basic "Net Deck" deck list, and know how to answer your threats (or die to them ;)), but when you throw in your own spin on what you're playing, while also running consistently, you can throw a successful curve ball, and all of a sudden, they don't know how to answer your threat because they've never experienced it, or if they have, it was not a threat. That way you can get that Custom feel, while also running cards you want.
I am NOT telling you to net deck though (Look up a deck list online). Simply what I mean is to run 4 ofs of the "Staple" cards in the colors, if you want to win. It's sad that the game has come to that, but it's the truth. But run a couple 3 or 4 ofs of what you want, maybe under appreciated cards in Standard (Hello {Counterflux!}), or simply cards you like, because that's what it's about, fun :D
Again, I +1 your Karma good sir! Your smarts and defending your playstyle is super awesome, and hey, who knows? Maybe you're right and I'm wrong! It all comes down to what YOU want, it's YOUR deck :) I hope you have fun!
What are some suggestions to make 4 ofs because they are all great cards and all have a purpose for the deck
I could bump my gw list if you would like. It performs well is nice and aggro
Take out Karametra. At that mana you should be getting a god board position, maybe even ending it. Karametra is great, but not so if aggro. Speed is the name of the game.
