Does anyone here play the Magic 2014 app by Wizards?
I just got a kindle fire and was finally able to download it, I love it so far!
I've only done single player mode but would love to play with some iMtG folks!
I do, but I haven't played it all that much as of yet!
Nope I only have an iPhone...
I've got it on my dad's iPad, but I haven't fully finished downloading it yet. I'll play you sometime.
I have it on xbox.
I have the game for PS3. You may want to have this moved to the Digital Section on this forum.

Hey dont bag on the kindle. Its nice but i downloaded on my kindle as well. I still think this game would be better if it wasnt so repetitive. Like in limited the packs are the same exact cards which alows them to post the most effective decks as you go on other wise i love the game.
Are you referring to Duals of the Planeswalkers 2014?
I bought a kindle fire for the e book capabilities, mainly textbooks. I can't afford an iPad right now. I quite like the kindle so far!
It shows up as Magic 2014 on my App Store, but it might be called dual of the planeswalkers. Not exactly sure.

I must admit the kindle is far superior as an ereader than the iPad. I was making the gesture towards the actual tablet features.
Anyways, if it's DotP 2014 it's horrible on the iPad. It crashes every single time you open it. The reviews on the App Store are horrid for that reason. I still play the 2013 version. Jace's deck is awesome.

Completely agree on all levels. Jace's deck is sweet, and 2014 sucks. If you want to rematch, you have to close the app and restart it entirely, or you will never get to finish the match without a crash. It seems you are allowed one match per boot.
The worst of it is that while they've released plenty of expansions, they have done nothing to fix the crashing, which they must be aware of. And don't get me started on what a joke the Sealed Mode was.
Absolutely. I bought the expansion for 2013 and still play it daily. I've actually built decks in real life around some of the decks that are on there, well the ones that aren't the starter decks. Like Jace's mill deck, with a twist, and the U/W enchantment deck is what I'm currently working on. I also just finished the Neferox deck too. I threw in shocks and scry lands to make it quicker. By no means are they competetive, but they sure are fun.
I actually may be the only person who enjoyed Planechase. The.graphic was really helpful and after watching the game play in real life it seemed to flow better on the game. Ive never played in real life, but still. I enjoyed it.

The 2013 had better playability, but it was also a lot more difficult to use, and it'd always leave the phase I was in even though I wanted to play something. 2014 crashes? I've not had that problem...
Have you tried selecting "Hold Priority" in the Options menu? And are you playing 2014 on an iPad, or console?
Also, the timer button can be pressed to stop the timer.
I haven't had any of those issues with the app on my kindle! It runs very smoothly, no issues yet! I haven't gotten jace's deck yet. I did the campaign, and all of the challenges. I started the sealed campaign now. :)
I'm just hoping 2015 is better. The extras on 2014 are very bad.
Until then I will stick with my 2013. It's much more fun.
I'm on the plainswalker version threw steam
