I've decided to make an Edric EDH deck, but since I just started recently I don't know many good cards to throw in... Here are my plans so far. It's designed to just sort of make sure I don't get hit by just countering things thrown at me and getting some blockers, not drawing any attention, just sitting there until I can get some huge bomb. I need to know the {G}{U} Alpha lands / Lorywyn lands / Fetchland, because I don't remember their names. Looking to add more:

Even in commander {Ætherling} is crazy hard to deal with. Also {Vorinclex Voice of Hunger} and {Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur}. {Inkwell Leviathan} too :)
The lands you are wondering about are {Tropical Island}, {Flooded Grove}, & {Misty Rainforest}.
I recomend doing a database search for creatures with CMC 3 or less that have flying. Also extra turn effects are good in edric because you can attack, draw 2-6 cards, then do it again. The card advantage is huge.
{Flying Men}! Seriously more things like this... Because casting edric and getting that fast card advantage is what lets edric win. Fast. Very fast.

I think for edric you want some group hug. Like {font of mythos} and {howling mine} to help promote you staying alive.

Negative karma from this aside, this is why I win games.
Edric wants to overwhelm the board and use the massive card advantage to continue to push through resistance and win.
Edric built as a tempo type deck is insanely powerful and was banned from competitive play before they even banned zur or derevi. I know what I am talking about...
