With the shadowborn apostles it may be easier yo just use {Creeping renaissance} to get them all back in your hand

Yes you would. It says when it enters the battlefield, not when it is cast from your hand or just normally cast
The sacrificing is apart of the activation cost. So you pay the activation cost, they go to the graveyard, THEN it enters the battlefield.
You'd still get two of the Demon creature. It says when it enters the battlefield. This means it is on the battlefield when it summons the harpies. This also means youre getting two harpies

oh no haha I was just clarifying in case people thought it would include the devotion from the apostles
You could just use a Diabolic Tutor and not sac your other creatures.
