Title: Valentines Gifts.
Post by: ApexPredator on February 13, 2014, 08:02:58 PM
I wanna know what you bought your significant other this year. I got my wife a new Coach purse and will be picking up flowers tomorrow.

Seeing as I spent $100+ on her for Christmas (that's a lot, as a 12 year old), I'm going with chocolate, some flowers if I can get around to it (Valentine's Day snuck up on me D:), an alt art version of her commander, mist raven, typhoid rats, and 16 regular mist ravens. As you can tell, she has a thing for mist ravens.

That sounds pretty awesome! I need to do that for my wife and her commander I think. And it snuck up on me too. I just got home from the Coach store lol

It's also kinda to nudge her into EDH because she hasn't started building it yet and is the queen of procrastination.

Dude, Coach is the bain of my existence. My wife has six different Coach purses and a few Coach travel bags. I feel your pain man.

I got my wife some bubble baths and few small things from B&BW, and a couple Blu-Rays. Not too much since she has a birthday three weeks after V-Day.

Look at how lucky you are that I don't care about designers, Noah. Haha

We are very broke this year, and we aren't the fondest of this holiday to begin with. I got Noah a belt and a nice card and a BoG booster pack. I'm making a nice dinner tomorrow while he is at work, and we got a sitter for the night!

Idk if he got me anything yet, but bath goodies from LUSH are always nice. (Hint, hint.)

LUSH is super cool! Lol it smells good in there. We normally dont do anything for v day but I havent seen my wife a lot lately because of work so we wanted to do something special. And a home made dinner is the best imo. Thats what we are doing. Unfortunately I have an MRI right after work so I won't be home till late :(  What are you making for dinner?

My girlfriend (along with two other girls in my class) are singing that night, so I had to scramble like a mad man to find a way to get there and back. It took me literally 3 hours to arrange the entire thing.

Well this is the first valentines day I'll be celebrating with my girlfriend and it's not far from the year mark when we first met.
Unfortunately, she and I live in different states at the moment.

But because a lot has happened in the past year, and because she likes when I write short stories for her, I decided I would make a gift that we could reminisce over where I basically wrote an account of this last year from my POV emphasizing the girl that came into my life (her ;) ).

I'm sad that I can't see the look on her face when she opens the letter from the envelope and sees: "Chapter 1"

So I got the mrs a live chicken. She heard I liked chickens so I decided to get her a chicken to keep as a pet.

I hope she will take care of it.

I got to watch her perform! Made me so happy. She also gave me a necklace with half of a heart on it, with her having the other half. I now have a collection of things about her hanging around my neck: a dog tag that says "eat, sleep, magic" with her name on the back, keys which unlocks a lock she has, and that.

Just got back from visiting my boyfriend. I got him two magic boosters (he pulled Kiora the crashing wave from one if them), a ninja turtle shirt, a Star Wars shirt, new jeans from Macys, a sith bracelet, and I gave him lollipops in a Star Wars heart tin (he doesn't care for chocolate.

Got to watch that last one, you tell us we are right once and we start getting our ego hopes up...
I know firsthand guys have egos, I mean you have to tell guys their right every once in awhile.  If I wasn't told I was right, I would be a sad sad man

You're gay?  Or a girl?  I'm confused... (Not that being gay is bad)
But being a girl is bad?

I am bi yes, quite recently figured that out acually.  I don't think my boyfriend has an account here, but I won't pressure him into getting one. :)
