Sometimes the awnsers we look for are so simple. What are some things that made you go "Duh!" To yourself?

My personal favorites are "Where's my sunglasses/pen?" when you're wearing the glasses, or the pen in behind your ear. Derp!

I've been on my phone texting or on an app trying to find my phone haha
We regularly play a game in my appartment called "Where's Chris's belt". While it's never actually been on me, I've misplaced it in some pretty dumb spots lol.
I once put my laundry in the toilet instead of the washer without thinking... That was probably one of my bigger derps...

Haha I've never thought about that before since I've only lived in places with separate laundry rooms. My brother's house has his laundry room in a half bath like yours must be, and thinking about it now I can very much picture that happening, and doing it myself lol
I've looked for multiple items for quite some time while holding them in my hand. Not proud to admit this lol.
I once lost a pair if sunglasses I was wearing. Not my proudest moment... I'm facepalming now just remembering it.
One time I didn't park my car on the driveway (I did on the street) and then I went outside to go somewhere and went "My car!" So I got in my car, went to the police station, and was about to walk in and tell them my car was stolen when I realized how dumb I was

At least it's better than putting your dishes in the washing machine and laundry in the dishwasher. I've had someone do that before.
