Everybody has a favorite tribe: elves, goblins, human.. The list goes on. My favorite is vampires. I've always loved vampires, even before magic, and when my friend got me into it, I had the chance to buy a pretty good vampire deck from his friend for 30$(a great deal for what was in it). After a month or so of playing I started to make it my owe, my baby... My precious! It's what really got me into magic. What are my fellow iMTG amigos favorite tribes?
My favorite tribe has been zombies. With a great commander like {Grimgrin, Corpse Born}, and other cards like {Rooftop Storm}, {Army of the Damned}, and others makes zombies awesome. Plus, 'scientific' fun with {Conspiriacy} (naming zombies) and {Rooftop Storm}!
I always loved my humans. My modern deck is a human tribal deck currently. My second deck (after a spirit Tribal) was a human tribal deck. The innistrad humans hold a special place in my heart

Like you I was interested before magic as well. I love all types of vampires! (Excluding one type, but I don't consider that as such) debating their existence forever and always, you know. Asking the tough questions in life. :P

My first "good" deck was soldier tribal, so soldiers are special to me. I'm currently converting said deck to EDH - only 12 cuts to go! lol...
Goblins are an auto-win tribe for flavor text, though. They always make me happy.

As do they in mine. Human tribal was my first competitive deck when scars and innistrad were together.
I can't pick a favorite. I love humans, but I also enjoy making janky tribal decks. I've played Knghts in modern and Clerics and Wizards in EDH.
I've always loved demons, and innistrad just brought so many great demons! Currently working on a demon EDH!

Tie between Vampires and Eldrazi. Started out with vamps years ago, still occasionally throw together a casual vamp deck and beat face. Then came Rise of the Eldrazi. I love everything about the Eldrazi. They quickly became my favorite. Alas, vampires are far more competitive, so they do get boosted up to Eldrazi level.
I first got into magic during the Innistrad block. My first competitive deck was my {G}{W} human deck, and it stomped face. It was the only deck I played through the entire block, at least until the very end.
I wish wizards would make elephant tribal a thing
I have a sweet UW spirit deck that a friend have to me and love it a lot
Mine would have to be Soliders/Dragons/Knights. I want to play Spiders, but I need {Dragonlair Spider} and a Spider Lord.

Elves, easily. Zombies are a very close second.
Turtles for the lose hehe but they are just so cute, secondly Elves are always fun.
Elves mainly. Cats secondary.
