Does  {Loam Lion} fit into this deck?

Loam lion is on our maybe list, but given the strategy and color combination of the deck, {Kird Ape} is a better choice. We are first testing out how well {Knight of the Reliquary} + {Steppe Lynx} do. It's a process. We've been so busy we have not yet had a chance to play test.

What is tribal flames for?
It's removal and can be a lot of damage to the face. Usually it deals 4-5 damage

With 1 basic in the deck this is a dead card..

Kird ape an Loam lion are a must.  Boros charm against sweepers, and path to exile for big creatures that helix or bolt can't get rid of.

Notice the basic subtypes on shocklands like {breeding pool} and {overgrown tomb}: they count for domain. {Boros charm} is just a worse {tribal flames} (you already have an amazing matchup against sweeper-running decks). {Path to exile} could be useful against tron and pod, but that's about it.

Not many people can. That's why we trade. Trading up for value cards is what I do..

Run {scavenging ooze} instead. Shrinks their Goyf as you get a bigger creature and gain life.

Btw didnt know shocks worked for domain. But boros charm is still good utility against bad trades, sweepers, or to push that xtra bit of dmg u need... Just a thought.

I have a zoo deck myself. {Combust} works pretty well as a four of in the sideboard. Helps a lot with Merfolk, Twin, Soul Sisters, really anything that has blue or white creatures you'll want to deal with. Those three are just problems for me.

Yeah I was thinking that Merfolk might be a poor matchup, thnx I added a few to finish off the SB

Anytime. I would also highly suggest a playset of {Path to Exile}. They are super helpful in keeping the beatdown going.

.....Woah.  Saw that Nacatl was unbanned and managed to still forget about zoo existing.  I've actually wanted to play Zoo for a while haha.  May be my next big project...

Yeah man idk what wizards was thinking, this deck is so powerful with Nacatl.

After testing Moneekah and I are dropping 3 {Lingering Souls} for a {Steppe Lynx} and 2 paths. We're impressed with how consistent lynx is now even late game thanks to knight. Still might try out kird ape

{Kird Ape} and {Loam Lion} are both very good.

Both are most appealing to me because they don't die to  {Pyroclasm}

How much does {blood moon} affect this deck?

It seems like after a {blood moon} is resolved, this deck may just concede if it can't burn its opponent out. {Blood moon} shrinks {wild nacatl} and stops this deck from playing all of its green and blue spells (and {Elspeth, Knight-Errant}).

Yep stops it cold, if this deck ends up being popular {sowing salt} and {blood moon} will be more prevelent in sideboards. So far I've been impressed and unimpressed with how this verson of zoo performs, I want to try other builds eventually

I really like  {Thalia, Guardian of Thraben} in zoo builds.
