Title: To buy or not to buy? That is the question.
Post by: Spencer Addington on February 09, 2014, 08:15:23 PM
So I'm really contemplating finishing my norin the wary deck or buying a box of gatecrash(don't try and convince me otherwise. Gatecrash is me favorite). Help me decide?

I'd finish out the deck. Having a bunch of random cards is never as good as having a deck (unless you can definitely trade the cards for what you need).

Nothing like the feeling of ripping open 36 packs. Until you realize you just got junk. But good luck on the box.

That's what I worry about. I can garentee that I'll get my deck done, or I can open packs, which is a great feeling. First world problems are the worst.

Are there modern tourneys at your LGS? If so, you can win packs by finishing your deck. :P

I still like the box. That's just me. I play casual so it's not that big of a deal to finish decks. Also I cannot see paying more then a dollar or two for a card. Again that's just me.

It's hard to part with money, and paying 5-11$ on a single card seems a little much, but having the deck you built in your hand and playing with it and wining... That's a damn good feeling. I'm leaning more towards finishing the deck the more and more I thing about it.

I would also finish it. I've spent too much on packs for a bunch of junk.

Boxes are fun to get.

I ended up getting just two boxes instead of the case. Haha. RtR of course.

I was contemplating Gatecrash, but then I realized I like money too much.

On topic though, finishing a deck is a great feeling. However I never feel like I've completely finished a deck, and there is always something new or different I can add. Haha. Home brews are strange.
