I don't understand this deck. Is it just a bunch of cards you think are good or is there some synergy I'm missing?

More 4/5-drops is a bad idea: 4 is already too many.

If you want to play jund in modern, you'll need playsets of {Tarmagoyf}, {Thoughtseize}, {Dark Confidant}, {Liliana of the Veil}, and {Lightning Bolt}. 2-3 {Abrupt Decay}, {Inquisition of Kozilek}, {Maelstrom Pulse}, {Scavenging Ooze}, and {Terminate} should also be in the main.

Still not enough, though: for each time he draws Ajani, it'll be dead about 1/3 of the time.
