Does anyone know how to get the tumblr app I you don't have ios 7/ can't update to ios 7?
You might be able to if you jailbreak your phone, but that's about it. Don't do it, though: the tumblr app is terrible and you're better off tumbling on safari (make sure to disable mobile layout).

How do you disable mobile layout?
On your dashboard, scroll down to the bottom where it has the big "Load more posts" button. There should be some small white text saying "disable mobile layout" along the bottom.
