Title: Questionable Business?
Post by: Silent1236 on February 05, 2014, 10:20:38 PM
So, on two occasions, I've had someone else drop off a trade for me at the post office.  On both occasions, he was asked if I was making/selling fake IDs.  Anyone else having that problem? haha  The people at the post office have been told that it is trading cards, and every time they decide that I need to fill out a customs form, it always says trading cards, but they still ask if I'm doing something illegal.  That being said, the people that work at the post office in my town have shown time and time again that their intelligence is seriously lacking.

I've never had that issue. XD
That sucks man. Trades should be simple affairs, not rife with paperwork.

Only filled out customs items for out of country mailing.

But magic cards are the right size for a fake ID 😜

Same.  I've done several trades to Australia and Norway.

I think that's probably what it is.  They just think that the toploaders are IDs and get all suspicious.  I'm curious to see if they try to pitch a fit about it or if they just take my word haha.

Just don't seal the envelope until you get there so you can pull it out and show them.  Problem solved.
That's just a pain in the ass haha.  I always seal it and tape it.  So I'd have to do that whole process in front of them.  My vote would be that they just let it go and realize that some people have legal hobbies and mind their own damn business :P

It's hilarious they ask you if you're doing something illegal. "Yes, I'm doing something very illegal, but I will tell you the truth when asked because lying is against my morals."
