If i have a 6/6 with lifelink and doublestrike, and i attack and its not blocked, how much damage is done and how much life is gained? Furthermore, if its blocked by a 1/1, is the ruesult the same?
Not to make this confusing, but what if that creature had trample and was blocked? Would that change the amount i would gain?
1. If you have an unblocked 6/6 double strike lifelink, you will deal 12 damage and gain 12 life.
2. If your creature is blocked by a 1/1, it will kill its blocker with first strike damage, then fail to deal any regular combat damage, so you only gain 6 life.
3. If your 6/6 gains trample when it is blocked, it will deal 1 to the blocker and 5 to the defending player in first strike damage, killing the creature, then all 6 points of regular combat damage to the defending player for a total of 11, gaining you of 12 life in all.
